It gives us great pleasure to welcome you to the presentation by the German Federal Republic. Germany participates in this exhibition to enhance economic cooperation and cultural exchange with the book industry of other nations. International interaction is of key importance to our country.
The German Collective Stand is funded by the Federal Ministry of Economy and Technology and organised by the Frankfurt Book Fair, a subsidiary of the German Publishers & Booksellers Association (Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels). The Börsenverein represents the interests of more than 2,600 publishers and more than 4,000 booksellers who offer an extensive range of authors, scientists and their book publications.
New contemporary fiction, new general knowledge titles, children’s and teenage publications from Germany will be on show.
Personal contacts with the German publishing industry, information on the Frankfurt Book and exchange with the international publishing world: the German Collective Stand does so much more than simply inviting you to discover the contemporary editorial panorama in Germany.
